The type of personal information that is collected

The following information is collected and processed:

•         Personal identifiers, contacts and characteristics (for example, name and contact details)

•         Bank details where relevant for the settling of invoices

How the personal information is accessed and why it is used

Most of the personal information processed is provided to directly by you for one of the following reasons:

•         To engage in business dialogue and to complete Business Consultancy work

Personal information is also received indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:

•     LinkedIn (or equivalent sites)

·       Your company website or published material

·       Published information providers (e.g. trade bodies, trade press etc)

The information that you have given may be used in order to communicate with you.

This information may be shared with other business service providers, as appropriate.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases relied on for processing this information are:

(a) Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting Howard Nead at howardnead@redroadco.com

(b) There is a contractual obligation.

(c) There is a legal obligation.

(d) There is a vital interest.

(e) It is needed to perform a public task.

(f)  There is a legitimate interest.

How your personal information is stored

Your information is securely stored in a Cloud based system protected by purchased virus/malware software.  

Your information is retained for a period of 7 years after final contact. It will then be disposed of by deleting relevant records.

Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

Your right of access: you have the right to ask for copies of your personal information.

Your right to rectification: you have the right to ask for rectification of personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask for incomplete information to be completed.

Your right to erasure: you have the right to ask for the erase of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to restriction of processing: you have the right to ask for restrictions regarding the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to object to processing: you have the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to data portability: you have the right to ask for the transfer of personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, it will be responded to within two months.
